Fundacion Escaño
Of great interest to all Escaño clan members is the formation of the Fundacion Escaño, the foremost aim of which is to preserve and nurture the Escaño heritage in business and the arts. The Fundacion was formally incorporated in the year 2000. Its incorporators are the following:

Escaño Mausoleum

The first project of the Fundacion is the restoration of the Escaño mausoleum in Malitbog, in itself an exquisite work of art. Having been left to the elements and to the vandals all these years, the mausoleum, with a budget of 500,000 pesos, will be restored to its former glory when the work is completed by the end of December, 2000. Eddie Gonzales is the project manager, and has made the restoration a real labor of love. Escaño clan members will descend on Malitbog for its dedication in the summer of 2001.

Other worthwhile aims of the Fundacion include the repair and maintenance of other Escaño landmarks, and the creation of a scholarship fund to be availed of by deserving and needy Escaño members.

We appeal to everybody to support the Fundacion, and if capable to also help it financially!
